1. Torch Song Trilogy

Harvey Fierstein at his finest, as the gravel-voiced drag queen who takes time out from growling torch songs in a seventies night spot to fight with his mother, bury his father, and turn up at his adopted son's school in bunny slippers. One of the most beautiful and touching stories ever seen, which somehow makes you laugh and cry in the same breath.
